“British technology companies received over $795M from US investors in 2014 According to London & Partners, the official London promotion firm of Mayor Boris Johnson, a large part of the investments was raised by financial technology companies. The nearly $800M is a significant increase, in 2012 $296M was invested in the London tech scene. The US is responsible for over half the investments pouring into London’s technology sector.
